Almost 5 years already??!?!!!?!!!?!?!?

It is so hard to believe that on Sunday August 16th, Nathan will be 5 years old! I was looking through his baby book and remembering the little things he did. Remembering what it was like to be able to pick him up and cuddle him. How he would giggle and coo at me from the bouncy seat. I remember my dad saying "yep, once he gets that little tongue working and forming words, he is never going to be quiet"...or "you are going to be a going concern once you start walking".
All I can say is "AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH!"
I completed a little survey of him on July 19th and wrote down what he said and we took measurements of him too....Check it out:

“Playing at the centers.” His favourite centers were the Reading, Blocks and Kitchen Centers.

“Caleb, Elijah, Jacob, Brandon F., Brandon L., Allison and Abby and Katie”.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Iron Man
ABILITIES:
Letter recognition – upper and lower case letters, count to 100 forwards and backwards, Swimming under water, playing outside, knows the sounds of the letters of the alphabet, shapes, colours, writing all kinds of words left handed, playing on the computer on pbskids.org, Playing all sorts of games on the wii, READING on his own! Nathan is reading this as I type it too!
FAVOURITES
Foods: Grapes, strawberries, spaghetti, skittles, broccoli, grilled cheese sandwiches, McDonalds Cheeseburger Happy meals, Chicken nuggets, French fries with ketchup, peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, cookies, goldfish crackers, salad, apple sauce and hamburger helper.

Dislikes:
Jell-o, Lasagna, raw onions


Toys, Games and Activities:
Spiderman, Iron Man, Power Rangers, Reading Books, Cars, Stuffed Animals.
Games: Sorry, Trouble, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Little Einsteins BINGO, Dominoes, Go Fish/Go Spidey, any game on the Wii.
Activities: Going to the Library (he has his own card), sticking stickers on a sheet of paper, sorting cards, colouring, doing activity sheets.
Books: Books he can listen to on CD, Mortimer, David Goes to School, How Do Dinosaurs Go To School, Franklin series, Curious George series.
Movies: Alice in Wonderland, Free Willy, Mary Poppins, Wall-E, Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, Cars, Little Einsteins, Curious George, Mighty Ducks, Lion King, Dumbo, The Black Cauldron.
